Major
histocompatibility complex (MHC) class 1 molecules bind to antigens for
presentation on the surface of cells. The proteasome is responsible for
producing these antigens from the components of foreign pathogens. MHC class
1 molecules consist of an a heavy chain that contains three subdomains (α1, α2, α3), and a
non-covalent associating light chain, known as β-2-Microglobulin. β-2-Microglobulin associates with the a3 subdomain of
the a heavy chain and forms an immunoglobulin domain-like structure that mediates
proper folding and expression of MHC class 1 molecules. The α1 and α2 domains of the a heavy chain form
the peptide antigen-binding cleft. Mice that lack β-2-Microglobulin
protein show a normal distribution of T cells, yet have no mature CD4-8+ T cells
and are defective in CD4-8+ T cell-mediated cytotoxicity. Interferon-γ can stimulate production of β-2-Microglobulin
transcripts. The human β-2-Microglobulin gene maps to
chromosome 15q21-q22.2 and encodes a 119 amino acid protein. Mutations in the β-2-Microglobulin gene can enhance the progression of
malignant melanoma phenotypes.

保存條件:

Microglobulin Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody -20℃保存，Western一抗稀釋液-20℃或4℃保存，一年有效。Western一抗稀釋液優先推薦4℃保存，長期不使用可以考慮-20℃保存，但凍融可能會導致出現輕微的渾濁和少量不溶物。
注意事項:
如果本抗體用于Western blot (WB)、**熒光(IF)、**細胞化學(ICC)等實驗，請注意回收使用過的稀釋抗體。回收的抗體通常至少可以重復使用5-10次。稀釋后的抗體，包括已經使用過的稀釋抗體，請4℃保存。
回收后重復使用的抗體，使用方法同新鮮稀釋的抗體。如果在重復使用過程中發現抗體出現輕微混濁現象，可以10,000g離心1-3分鐘，取上清用于后續檢測。如果回收的抗體出現明顯的絮狀物或長霉長菌等情況，則可以考慮廢棄該抗體。
提供的Western一抗稀釋液也可以用于**熒光(IF)、**組化(IHC)、**細胞化學(ICC)等適當用途。如果希望獲得*佳的檢測效果，請考慮使用上述檢測專用的一抗稀釋液。
